As our beloved bilingual representative, Betty embodied one of our core missions: bridging cultures, languages, and generations through her love of volleyball and her unwavering belief in the potential of every young girl.
Betty’s passion reached far beyond the court. She was a guiding voice for families, an advocate for equity, and a joyful presence who made everyone feel seen, valued, and supported. Her compassion and commitment to youth development touched countless lives, inspiring us all to give more, love harder, and strive for greater impact.
Though she is no longer with us in person, Betty’s spirit lives on—in every serve, every cheer, and every dream that takes flight through Indy Blacktop Volleyball.
